Translator of client dreams into doable plans.

What led you to this career path?
In college, I studied advertising and loved it. My thesis was on “Sex in Advertising to Adolescent Women” and examined how marketing visuals had changed from the 1970s to the 1990s. After I graduated, I wanted to work at an agency, but did not want to leave Phoenix, and was lucky enough to get a position as a media coordinator at a local shop. My career took off from there.

If you could add one thing to the office, what would it be?
A Pilates reformer.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?
Do the right thing for the client, and everything else will work itself out.
I’ve found it to be true every time.

Who inspires you?
People who create art inspire me, whether it’s visual arts, music, writing, or theater. Lately, I’ve been inspired by a former co-worker, Stephanie Garcia, who is an engineer by day and an artist in her free time. @stephdgarcia

What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about healthcare. We all deserve good doctors who work with us to determine what’s best for each individual.

What is your favorite thing about this career field?
My favorite thing about this career field is that you get to learn at least a little bit about a lot of things. You end up with interesting stories to tell about some very random subjects.

What is your favorite place in Arizona? In Phoenix?
My favorite place in Arizona is Oak Creek in Sedona. People travel from all over the world to see the area, and it’s right in our backyard. My favorite place in the Phoenix area is downtown Tempe. Whether it’s a festival at Tempe Beach Park or on Mill Avenue, or just strolling around, shopping, and eating, there’s always something to do.

What’s one thing you learned recently?
I learned that I need to go to more movies! The team here at ANDERSON is dialed into movie culture and happy to help choose what to see next.

Guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is British murder mystery shows. I love classic mysteries, cop shows, and historical thrillers set in the UK.

Favorite thing about ANDERSON!!
My favorite thing about ANDERSON is the supportive leadership and culture of kindness. People truly care about each other and their happiness.
