The Social Media Queen

There’s a new member of the ANDERSON Team! Sam Bero loves music festivals, camping, and scrolling through TikTok and Instagram. That last part is actually a work requirement because she’s our new Social Media Manager! Learn more about her in the blog below.

Describe your role at Anderson in 10 words or less. GO!

“Show us some love on Instagram at @andersonadpr!”

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

“Taking short brain breaks throughout the day is a must for me. Afterward, I’m able to return to my work with fresh eyes”

What led you to this career path?

“Growing up, I loved writing, journalism, and politics. I studied journalism at the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. Halfway through my studies, I realized journalism wasn’t the career path for me so I switched gears and studied public relations and marketing.”

If you could add one thing to the office what would it be?

“ANDERSON already has cold brew on tap and dogs. What more could I need?!”

What’s the best advice you were ever given?

“In the words of Paul McCartney, “Let it be.”

Who inspires you?

“Everyone in my life inspires me. I’m constantly amazed at the accomplishments of my friends and family.”

What are you passionate about?

“I am passionate about music, traveling, and exploring everything life has to offer.”

What is your favorite thing about this career field?

“I love being creative and bringing ideas to life.”

Favorite place in Arizona? In Phoenix?

“My favorite place in Arizona is End of the World near Flagstaff. It’s a beautiful and quiet campsite overlooking Sedona. As for Phoenix, catch me at AZ/88 sipping espresso martinis on the weekend.”

What’s one thing you learned recently?

“I recently learned how to read a wine label—and what to specifically look for on a label from Sommelier André Mack’s World of Wine on YouTube. For example, the more precise the region is on the label, the better quality of the wine. If a label says, “California” as the region of origin, it’s mid. If it specifies the city—or better yet, the vineyard—it’s higher quality. This applies to any price range of wines. You can get high-quality wine for $15 or less if you know how to read a wine label.”

Guilty pleasure?

“Scrolling past the judgmental “You’ve been scrolling for too long” TikToks without a care in the world.”

Favorite thing about ANDERSON!!

“The people at ANDERSON are genuinely kind, upbeat, and supportive! The clients are pretty darn cool, too.”
