Digital Marketing Strategist

Scottsdale-based ANDERSON Advertising & Public Relations, a full-service creative and communications agency, is looking to add a Digital Media Manager to their growing team.


Digital Media Manager – This person plans, negotiates, purchases and places managed platform campaigns and online advertising, including PPC, display, video, remarketing. Manages all digital campaign budgets and reporting. Works closely with the Director of Media Services and the account team to ensure that all tactics meet business objectives and strategies.

  • Conceptualize, plan, execute and evaluate multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators based on campaign objectives
  • Summarizes campaign deliverables, performances, offering trends and insights on a regular basis
  • Provides strategic insight when it comes to global planning and detailed rationale for why decisions/recommendations are being made
  • Develop and manage media flowcharts in conjunction with traditional media buyer/planner
  • Manage paid search, paid social and other paid digital campaigns
  • Works with various agencies, display ad networks and vendors for particular initiatives, including retargeting and geofencing campaigns
  • Work directly in digital ad platforms, including Google AdWords, Display Select, Facebook Ads, and Yahoo! Native
  • Create regular internal and client reports on performance to provide analytical, data driven recommendations and insight that leads to ongoing optimization
  • Assist Director of Media Services in billing and billing workflows and budget management including: assistance in allocation of monthly budgets, issuance/revisions of insertion orders, oversight of client’s billing and financial reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis and resolution of media invoice and ad service fee discrepancies
  • Manages clients’ expectations and builds a positive and collaborative relationship with them
  • Remain current in latest marketing trends and provide strategic recommendations based on new research and findings
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with key agency vendors/partners


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • Google Adwords and Google Analytics certified preferred
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Proficiency with DoubleClick or similar management platforms
  • Familiar with display, mobile, cross platform, video, native, programmatic and ad networks
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience with pay-per-click (PPC) search engine, display, social media, video, and mobile advertising and analytics
