Doodle Mom

If you’ve ever wanted to know a little more about the A-Team, here’s your chance. Each month, we will be highlighting a different agency team member. This week we are helping you get to know our resident Jax mama, traveler, designer, wino, and amazing graphic designer, Allie!

Describe your role at Anderson in 10 words or less.. GO!

“Creative problem solver. Design ninja.”

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

“Iced americanos and making lists. The act of writing things down helps me prioritize my day and motivates me to get them crossed off. Caffeine also never hurts!”

What led you to this career path?

“Art class was always my favorite growing up, but never seriously thought about it as a career until my junior year of high school. I took a multimedia design class where I was introduced to the Adobe world and have loved it ever since. Fun fact: up until that class, I was planning on going to college for nursing.”

If you could add one thing to the office, what would it be?

“Outdoor work space. Are office tree houses a thing?”

What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?

“’Don’t wait for opportunity. Create it.'”

Who inspires you?

“My mom. She’s always worked hard to get the things she wants and has been such a support for me through the years.”

What are you passionate about?

“I’m all about trying new things and seeing new places. Avid baker, wine enthusiast, and outdoor adventurer are just some of the names I go by.”

What is your favorite thing about this career field?

“Everyday is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get!”

Favorite place in Arizona? In Phoenix?

“Sedona is my go-to day trip! Wine tasting and beautiful red rock views, what more could you ask for? Favorite place in Phoenix is Arcadia. Camelback views, historic homes, and some of the best food in the area.”

What’s one thing you learned recently?

“Apparently dogs can learn and know up to 165 words. Neat!”

What is your guilty pleasure?

“Soft pretzels in literally any form, looking at homes on Zillow, and True Crime podcasts.”

Last but not least, what is your favorite thing about ANDERSON?

“All the doggos!”
